What is DeFade?
DeFade is a real-time Solana memecoin analysis platform. It scans any SPL token contract address and delivers comprehensive risk intelligence across 27 on-chain analytical modules — from rug pull probability scoring to insider network detection, fresh wallet flagging, holder overlap mapping, and Pro-tier deep bundle analysis — plus a wallet tracker with trading performance analytics, portfolio scanning, token comparison, a historical rug database, a live rug alert feed, token survival curve tracking, automated rug receipts that prove each early catch with the token's real chart, and Telegram watchlist alerts that fire the moment a watched token shows LP pulls, dev sells, or whale dumps. DeFade is available across web, iOS (App Store), Android (Google Play), Chrome extension, and Telegram bot (@DeFadeAnalyzerBot). A public API (v1) with tiered access lets developers integrate token risk data into their own apps, bots, and dashboards. Built for traders who need the truth before they ape.
The Problem
The Solana memecoin market moves at lightspeed. Thousands of tokens launch daily on token launchpads, and the majority are designed to extract value from unsuspecting traders. Rug pulls, bundled launches, insider networks, and sniper bots cost traders millions every week. Existing tools are either paid, incomplete, or too slow. Traders need fast, comprehensive analysis before making decisions.
How It Works
Paste any Solana token contract address and DeFade runs 27 parallel on-chain analyses in real-time:
① Rug Pull Probability — Composite risk score (0-100%) computed from all signals

Uses 5 genesis strategies including DexScreener pool pagination to reach launch data on high-volume tokens (40k+ tx) where the standard scan can't.
⑲ Historical Bundles PRO — Detects coordinated buys during post-launch pump cycles (not just at launch). Scans volume spikes (3× rolling 7-day average, $50K min floor), identifies bundles within each spike window, and reports total bundled supply across all detected pump events.
⑳ Holder Overlap PRO — Maps the top 20 holders of up to 3 tokens and surfaces which other tokens those wallets share, with a force-directed bubble graph. Shared tokens with 3+ overlapping holders appear as bubbles colored by their strongest input link, revealing coordinated wallet clusters, narrative groups, and insider networks across multiple tokens at once.
㉑ Funding Origin PRO — Traces each top holder's funding back to its source and attributes it to a specific exchange hot wallet, grouping origins by KYC tier (Major KYC, Standard KYC, Low-KYC, No-KYC) and flagging mixer and bridge inflows. Surfaces how a token's holder base was funded rather than just listing exchange names.
㉒ Cross-Funding Graph PRO — Builds the wallet-to-wallet funding edges between top holders, exposing chains where one holder funded another directly. Visualizes the funding relationships as a graph so coordinated groups that route SOL between themselves before launch become visible.
㉓ Sybil Band Clustering PRO — Collapses the cross-funding edges into bands of wallets that behave as a single actor, excluding shared CEX, mixer, and bridge sources so wallets aren't grouped just for using the same exchange. Feeds a Sybil concentration signal into the composite risk score.
㉔ Deployer Reputation PRO — Scores the creator's full track record across every token they've launched: survival rate, serial-rug detection, thriving versus dead outcomes, average liquidity, and a clickable history of their previous tokens to spot repeat ruggers before they strike again.
㉕ KOL Detection — Checks every current holder against a database of known Solana KOL and influencer wallets, surfacing which influencers are holding the token and how much, so you can spot KOL-backed launches and exit-liquidity setups. Free for everyone and informational only: it does not affect the risk score.
㉖ Signal Fusion PRO — Cross-references every wallet flagged across the detection modules and surfaces the ones caught by two or more independent evidence families (launch timing, wallet age, insider transfers, shared funder, prior rug history). A wallet wearing three disguises at once is one operator; each module alone sees one disguise. Feeds a capped correlation bonus into the composite risk score.
㉗ Wallet Reputation PRO — A persistent cross-token intelligence database. Every scan records which wallets were flagged and in what role; when a token later dies on-chain, every wallet sighted on it becomes a confirmed rug participant. Future scans then flag repeat offenders on sight ("this wallet appeared in 4 previous rugged tokens"), even before they act — intelligence that compounds with every scan and cannot be replicated without DeFade's scan history.

Rug Receipts — When a token DeFade flagged later rugs, the platform auto-generates a provable receipt card: the risk score at first scan, how many hours before the collapse it was flagged, the token's real price chart with the cliff, and how many of its wallets were already known from previous rugs. Every receipt is timestamp-verifiable, published as a shareable page, and strong catches auto-post to the DeFade Telegram channel
Watchlist Notifications — Watch any token from the Telegram bot (/watch) and DeFade monitors it every 5 minutes for a week, alerting instantly on LP pulls, price collapses, dev wallets selling or moving tokens, and whale dumps. Confirmed deaths automatically feed the Wallet Reputation database
Technology Stack
DeFade is built as a Node.js / Express backend with a vanilla JavaScript frontend. On-chain data is fetched from Helius (Solana RPC + parsed transaction history), DexScreener (price, liquidity, pair metadata), GeckoTerminal (OHLCV charts), and pump.fun (bonding curve metadata). Persistent state lives in PostgreSQL (rug database, wallet reputation ledger, watchlist state, sentiment votes, API keys, Pro subscriptions, scan history, smart wallet cache). A multi-tier smart cache (in-memory permanent / medium / short TTLs plus Postgres-backed persistent cache that survives redeploys) cuts Helius RPC usage by an estimated 70-85%. Frontend deployed on Vercel; backend on Railway. Mobile apps built with Capacitor wrapping the web app. Chrome extension uses content scripts to inject DeFade analysis into DexScreener, Birdeye, GMGN, Photon, BullX, and Solscan. Telegram bot is a thin wrapper around the same API.

Revenue Model
DeFade operates a freemium model with four revenue streams.
(1) DeFade Pro subscription — $19/month unlocks unlimited scans plus the thirteen Pro-only deep analysis modules: Bundle Detection Pro (Jito atomic bundles, multi-hop funding chains, 5 genesis strategies), Historical Bundles (coordinated buys during post-launch pump cycles), Holder Overlap (cross-token holder mapping for up to 3 tokens), Insider Network (transfers and shared-funder mapping between top holders), Fresh Wallet Detection (flags top holders whose wallets were created within hours or days of the token launch), Sniper Bot Detection (bot wallets that bought within the first 120 seconds, with sold/transferred/holding classification per sniper), Smart Money Tracker (scores top holders by historical win rate and PnL to flag experienced wallets and bagholders), Smart Money Signals (surfaces what those top-performing wallets are actively buying), Funding Origin (per-exchange CEX attribution by KYC tier with mixer and bridge flagging), Cross-Funding Graph (wallet-to-wallet funding edges between top holders), Sybil Band Clustering (collapses funding edges into same-actor bands feeding a Sybil signal into the score), Social Sentiment Timeline (X mention sentiment, community vote history, and social presence in one score), and Deployer Reputation (the creator's full track record across past tokens: survival rate, serial-rug detection, and thriving versus dead outcomes). Pro scans additionally include Signal Fusion and the Wallet Reputation database, which cross-reference every flagged wallet across modules and against previously rugged tokens, surfacing repeat rug operators on sight. Free users get 3 token scans per day with access to the other 12 modules.
(2) DeFade Public API — developers and businesses subscribe to tiered plans (Free, Starter $29/mo, Pro $99/mo, Enterprise $499/mo) for programmatic access to all 27 analysis modules.
(3) Jupiter swap affiliate fees — when users trade directly through DeFade, the platform earns a small referral commission on each swap.
(4) Pay-per-use overage credits — API customers can purchase credit packs ($5–$50) to continue making requests beyond their daily plan limits at $0.02/request, with volume bonuses up to 10%.
Payments are processed via Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) for recurring subscriptions, or in USDC on Solana for users who prefer to pay on-chain directly from their wallet. Crypto plans are prepaid for the chosen term, verified on-chain via Helius, and grant access instantly. Every plan, on either rail, is available monthly or yearly, with yearly billed at a 20% discount. Subscription management is self-serve with instant key delivery.
