Delete your DeFade account

This page permanently deletes your DeFade account and the personal data attached to it. This cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your account and email address
• All login codes and active sessions
• Your scan history and usage records
• Any API keys issued to you
• The signup survey answer linked to your email

What is kept

• Operational cost logs of API calls, with your email removed so the records can no longer be linked to you
• Payment and invoice records held by our payment processor, Stripe, where retention is required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes)

Nothing retained can identify you. Watchlists and preferences stored only on your own device are not held by us — delete the app or clear its storage to remove those.

Your subscription

If you have an active DeFade Pro subscription, deleting your account cancels it at the end of the current billing period, so you are not charged again. You keep access until that period ends only if you cancel without deleting — deletion removes access immediately.

If you can't sign in

Email support@defade.org from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. Requests are actioned within 30 days, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
